The Alford Family is expecting their second baby girl in February, a sweet little sis for Haven, and we had the opportunity to do a Fall Family Session! Their photo session included this heartwarming film, and I am so glad I got the chance to document such a special time in their lives, as they are getting ready to welcome a new life into the world while cherishing their time with their baby girl.

I love capturing newborns in very natural poses, along with all their perfect imperfections that happen within the first 10 days of life—little skin flakes, hair loss making room for new hair growth, numerous precious yawns, stretches, sweet expressions, and that startle reflex I completely forgot about (and my little guy is only 19 months old).
