Melanie, Golden Hills Ocala

Funny story, you know when you were back in middle and high school and you would get extra bored? What would you do? Well…Mel & I used to have shoots for fun ALL the time. Im talking about at least once a week…I know, weird but what else are you supposed to do in ocala! We would pick out our favorite outfits, do our hair and make up, and then find the perfect location in our neighborhood (we lived in the same neighborhood which happened to be a beautiful golf course community with the biggest mossy gorgeous tress). Of course we did not know much about photography, we would shoot in auto and we would go at the brightest time of day…because, well we didn’t know better, ha! Surprisingly, we got a few good shots.

Anyways, fast forward a decade later and here we are doing the same thing!! We had a very impromptu shoot! It was about 7:15pm, so we parked Mel’s car and RAN towards the light, chasing the sun as it kept setting behind the beautiful mossy trees. We laughed, twirled, and did some pretty ridiculous poses laying on the very tall grass that hid who knows what. Mel was such a champ following my instructions…I love shooting her because I can pretty much tell her to do anything and she will do it haha.
