In Studio Newborn Session | Cassie Rose

It’s not often we get to remember our little ones only days old, mostly because of the combination of sleep deprivation and how incredibly quickly these squishy babies grow up. I love capturing newborns in very natural poses, along with all their perfect imperfections that happen within the first 10 days of life—little skin flakes, hair loss making room for new hair growth, numerous precious yawns, stretches, sweet expressions, and that startle reflex I completely forgot about (and my little guy is only 19 months old). The Rodrigos welcomed their second baby a couple weeks ago and I had the chance to photograph her at 10 little days old! Cassie slept most of the session which is all I could hope for! The session went at Cassie’s pace, having plenty of time for rocking her to sleep, feedings, and bow changes…because after all they’re the star of the show ;). Also- How beautiful is this family?! Roman was so in love with his sister and kept giving her kisses. Here’s some of the photos from the session!
