I Specialized in Newborn & Family Portraiture, based in Tampa Florida. I have been photographing people since the age of 15, when I purchased my first DSLR camera with my first job. I started Kat Gassaway Photography after the birth of my first child in 2017, when my love for freezing sweet moments of my baby boy turned into a passion of serving mothers in their most sacred and vulnerable time of their lives- pregnancy & newborn days.
I desire for all families to experience the joy & beauty of freezing time with their babies, no matter the age. My hope & dream with this business is to continue to do what the Lord has called me to through serving mamas and families in all stages.
I now live in Wesley Chapel with my husband Josh & four amazing kids. You'll often find me wearing all the hats between homeschooling our kids & being a business owner.
Fun Facts

I was born in Lima, Peru!
I speak spanish fluenty.

I'm a homeschool mama to 4 little loves. 3 little boys call me mama, and one surprise little gal was the bookend to our fam.

I can bark like a dog so well, that I fool dogs (I'm not kidding). I will often bark during sessions to get toddlers attention, ha! Might want to hire me just for that.

I went to USF for my bachelors & Masters in Maternal & Child Health. Go Bulls!
